Dear CopyRider,
How can I improve my class ranking? I am always at the top of the recommended resistance and pedaling at the recommended RPMs and still can’t seem to get past the mid class rankings. What am I doing wrong?
Sincerely,
Competitor in Carmel
Dear Competitor,
It sounds like you haven’t adjusted your personal settings on your profile. We figure your class rank based on your RPMs and resistance, factored together with your height, weight, and age. If you haven’t updated your personal information; your stats won’t reflect your personal effort. To update your information, go to My Account and click Edit Profile. When you do, you’ll get a more accurate class rank—along with personalized stats (hello, calories!) that reflect the work YOU put in! Happy competing!
Sincerely,
CopyRider
Dear CopyRider,
Why is there a star after some peoples’ names on the monitors in studio?
Sincerely,
Ivana Star
Dear Ivana,
If you’ve noticed the star next to some riders’ names, you’ve probably noticed a few of the other symbols as well! Let’s go over them all:
Star: This denotes our VIP members who are regulars at the bar. Interested in becoming a VIP? Ask a studio representative for deets.
Birthday Cake: It’s your birthday! If you see this on the studio board, be sure to wish that rider a happy birthday and a happier ride.
Person: This represents a first time rider. Be welcoming! Invite them to be a part of the community, tell them about your favorite instructor, or ask them to join you at the next event.
Sincerely,
CopyRider
Dear CopyRider,
I heard the best mash-up in my ride last week. Where can I get my hands on this song?
Sincerely,
DJ in DTC
Dear DJ,
Great question! We email you a playlist of your ride after each class (check the bottom of your email). If you want more great beats, monthly playlists, and favorites from your favorite instructors, follow cyclestars on Spotify.
Happy listening,
